The people you meet are the people who turn up
Ridgemoor Media is a small in-house crew. Camera, sound, design, code and music sit in one studio. No project is handed to strangers once it is signed. Ask to meet us first, and we will bring the whole team to the call.
A typical call sheet
- Director Holds the story from brief to final cut
- Cinematographer Frames and lights every shot
- Audio engineer Records clean sound on set
- Editor Cuts, grades and mixes the film
- Designer Draws the pages the film will live on
- Developer Builds the site your team can edit
Four crafts, one room
Each craft owns its part of the job and answers for it. They also sit within earshot of each other. That is the whole trick.
-
Camera and light
Natural light first, then we shape it.
Our camera crew reads a room before they rig it. Most days that means working with the light you already have. We add what the shot needs, and nothing more. The look stays warm and grounded, never glossy.

Sound and music
Bad audio loses a viewer faster than a soft frame.
A dedicated audio engineer is on set, not a mic on the camera. We record room tone and a clean backup on every take. Composers write to picture when a licensed track cannot carry the scene.

Design and story
The page and the film are drawn by the same hand.
One designer holds the look across both. That is why the frame grade and the site palette agree. Story leads the layout. We write the script and the page copy in the same week, so the voice never splits.

Build and handover
We hand back a site you can run without us.
Developers build in named blocks your marketing lead can edit. Nothing is locked behind a ticket to us. At handover we sit with your team and walk through it. You keep the source files and the logins.

why we build in WordPress
How the crew sizes to the job
We scope the crew to the brief, never the other way round. Four shapes cover most work. You see which one you are getting before you commit.
| Shape | What it fits | Who is on set |
|---|---|---|
| Two-person kit | Interviews, one location, a tight shot list | Director-operator and audio engineer |
| Small unit | Brand films, a cast, a day of setups | Director, camera, sound, grip |
| Full crew | Commercials, several locations, weather cover | Adds lighting, styling and a producer |
| Studio pair | Web builds running beside a shoot | Designer and developer, same brief |
Crew size is one of the things that moves a quote. See how we scope a budget, or read the stages a project runs through.
What we promise, and how we work
Meet the crew before you brief them
Thirty minutes, no deck. Tell us what you are trying to sell and to whom. You will meet the people who would shoot it and build it. Then you decide.
